LANSING, MICHIGAN (AlpLocal) – The use and sale of recreational marijuana in Michigan, beginning on December 1st, has been widely accepted.
With $3 million in sales in the first two weeks in December and $515,051 in taxes filling the state coffers, illicit operators, using illegal storefronts, are trying to cash in on the boom.
The state has taken a stand against illicit cannabis operations using brick-and-mortar locations as regulated businesses according to Andrew Brisbo, the Marijuana Regulatory Agency’s executive director.
