Hackers Increased Sophisticated Network Attacks
19 May 2020
(AGN News) – UPDATE 1: Hackers are running a sophisticated network out of La Jolla, San Diego, and Santa Clara County, California, Glendale, Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Tucson, Arizona that has destroyed hundreds of websites, mobile applications, cellphones, and computers.
CICO-SILO14, as OMS calls these hackers, have embedded agents into a domain company, a website hosting company, debt collectors, local private contractors (as stalkers), and a “website security” company that should “lock” out malware from a “site” but instead installs malware using sophisticated software and server administrators.
A cybersecurity group called OMS was able to locate this team of hackers even though they attempted to hide their true location using VPN. This group has been operating “in the shadows” for nearly six years.
Since AGN News reported on what OMS Security experts revealed on May 6, 2020, CICO-SILO14 allegedly stepped up their malign activities, including increased attempts to hack into websites, computers, cellphones, “stalking” website developers and targeting those who they have already victimized.
“Private contractors” allegedly hired by CICO-SILO14 have been seen outside of homes of website owners taking pictures. This malign activity has been documented to have preceded a CICO-SILO14 “strike” or cyber attack.
As reported earlier, alleged victims whose computers were hacked in previous weeks are reporting an increase in attacks.
Cellphone hacking to install malware has reportedly increased as well as stalking of website owners. It appears that they have gone from online attacks to physically demonstrating their ability to harm their victims in any way they choose.
Two separate reports have unknown persons parked outside of website owner’s homes to intimidate the owners. At least one home burglary and one burglary to a conveyance have been reported. One report of a “death threat” on September 27, 2019 at 8:23am was reported
These victims have reported an increase in various cyber attacks allegedly carried out by members of the “website security” agents under the direction of CICO-SILO14 leaders during the hours of 11:00pm and 7:00am (MST) in the morning.
These nighttime attacks have the same “signature” as previous CICO-SILO14 attacks. At the direction of CICO-SILO14 leaders, these cyber criminals have infected computers, cellphones, and tablets with malware making them totally unusable. In addition to this malign activity, they have destroyed websites and other online applications that have cost owners tens of thousands of dollars.
On Saturday May 17th, a sustained attack on websites and computers occurred by agents of CICO-SILO14. OMS Security agents are reporting coordinated attacks are allegedly being directed by “Team Leaders” out of their Phoenix office.
OMS Security analysts are reporting embedded agents in various enterprises including some with prior law enforcement experience, are also relatives or investors in CICO-SILO14 member companies. They are lending their full support to these malign activities.
“Private contractors” have reportedly come on board to help destroy these websites for pay and/or make sure that their constant presence represents a clear and present danger to the website owners.
The hackers of CICO-SILO14 who use a sophisticated network of legitimate businesses, cyber criminals, paid agents, botnets, and malicious software to take websites offline for pay shows the true nature of these hackers. Having caused so much damage over the years and having their identity exposed gives hope to their victims that the end is near.
Abraham Lincoln once said, “That some achieve great success, is proof to all that others can achieve it as well.” The fact that these website owners have worked hard to succeed is living proof that President Abraham Lincoln was right.
