JERUSALEM – Masala Tagnia is an Israeli of Ethiopian heritage. She joined the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) to serve her country as a soldier. As such, she gained the skills, talent and leadership ability to become an officer.
With proven leadership skills and a determination to be the best she could be, has lead to a promotion. She is the first Ethiopian-Israeli woman to be promoted to Lieutenant Colonel in the IDF.
