World Health Organization (WHO) Declares COVID-19 a Global Pandemic on 11 March 2020. What does COVID-19 stand for.
The CO stands for corona, VI stands for virus, D stands for disease and 19 stands for when the outbreak was first identified (31 December 2019).
This COVID19 is a respiratory disease that attacks the lungs. Wearing a mask can mitigate this respiratory disease.
On March 11, 2021, the first anniversary of COVID-19 being declared a global pandemic by the World Health Organization, Biden signed into law the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, a $1.9 trillion economic stimulus relief package he proposed and lobbied for that aimed to speed up the United States’ recovery from the economic and health effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and the ongoing recession. The package included direct payments to most Americans, an extension of increased unemployment benefits, funds for vaccine distribution and school reopenings, support for small businesses and state and local governments, and expansions of health insurance subsidies and the child tax credit.
COVID-19 PREVENTION
Everyone is being urged by local Tanzania Health professionals and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC.gov) to get vaccinated, wear masks, practice social distancing, and wash hands as a way to cut down on the transmission rate.
