UN COP25 Will Be in Madrid Spain

MADRID SPAIN – The United Nations global climate meeting, COP25, will be held in Madrid on December 2 -13, 2019. Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez’s office confirmed the event’s time and place.
This 25th Conference of the Parties will be addressing outstanding issues related to climate change due mostly, it’s claimed, to greenhouse gas emissions.
Many small island nations are fighting the effects of a warming planet.
Seychelles, an archipelago country of 155 named islands in the Indian Ocean whose capital Victoria, lies 1,500 kilometers (932 mi) east of mainland East Africa is seeing the effects of climate change. It’s leader, Danny Faure, is pleading for help as they see clear evidence of a warming planet.
It is expected that many countries will announce steps they’ve taken to reduce greenhouse gases at this COP25 Madrid event. Seychelles’s leaders and many island nations will be paying very close attention to the new initiatives being undertaken.
With new initiatives being undertaken by many countries to combat global warming, this COP25 will be the focus of citizens all over the world.
