Tiger Woods is recovering from a single car accident in LA County

LOS ANGELES COUNTY – Eldrick Tont “Tiger” Woods is recovering from a single car (SUV) rollover accident on a LA County road on yesterday. Tiger’s injuries are very severe.
Emergency surgery to repair two broken legs below the knee have been performed. Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva said today that this was purely “an accident” and no criminal charges will be filed.
Tiger is facing many years of recovery even learning to walk again, according to an orthopedic surgeon. With the support of family and friends he can recover from those injuries.
Investigators will check the car’s black box to gain information about speed and related data. Even then no charges are expected. The road Tiger Woods was driving down is a steep, curvy road south of Los Angeles known for accidents especially for speeding drivers.
Woods was responsive late Tuesday after undergoing emergency surgery that included placing rods, pins and screws in his legs.
