SANTA BARBARA (AGN.News) – Prince Harry and Meghan Markle welcomed Lilibet “Lili” Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, who was born on Friday, June 4th at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara, California.
The couple said, the newborn baby girl weighed 7lb 11oz and was “more than we could have ever imagined” and is now “settling in at home”. She is eighth in line to the throne, and the highest in the line to the throne to be born in the US.
Harry and Meghan’s second child, “Lili”, has been named after the family nickname for her great-grandmother the Queen, while her middle name Diana, honors her late grandmother, the Princess of Wales, the couple said.
Lilibet is the couple’s second child, after Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, who turned two in May.
The couple asked anyone wishing to send a present to support organizations working for women and girls, like Girls, Inc and Harvest Home.

Everyone is being urged by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC.gov) to get vaccinated, wear masks, practice social distancing, and wash hands as a way to cut down on the transmission rate.
