LOS ANGELES (AGN.News) – Odell Beckham Jr. came to the Los Angeles Rams after a problematic stay with the Cleveland Browns.
After helping the Rams get into the NFL 2022 playoffs, Beckham knew he had to perform well or even better than well, with cash incentives built into his new contract, as an additional motivation. He also knew he could have an above average performance verses the Arizona Cardinals and he could now cash-in and cash-in he did!
Beckham had the best night in his NFL career in Monday night’s win. He made NFL postseason history, becoming the first NFL player to both throw a 30-yard pass and catch a 30-yard pass in the same playoff game.
He had a 31-yard catch from Matthew Stafford and threw a 40-yard long-bomb to Cam Akers for the completion. Both were history making! No one had ever done this in the 101 year history of the NFL, which was founded on September 17, 1920 … 101 years ago.
For all his efforts in helping the Rams win this postseason game, he made history and picked up a $500,000 bonus, per his Rams contract deal. He could get another bonus of $750,000 next weekend by helping the Rams win against the Tampa bay Buccaneers.
Beckham had the best night of his career with his history-making stats, bonus and the win!
