Kareem Neal Arizona 2019 Teacher of the Year Now Inducted into the National Teachers Hall of Fame

PHOENIX (AGN.News) – The City of Phoenix and the State of Arizona is celebrating an history making educational event. For the first time in the history of the state, an educator has been inducted into the National Teachers Hall of Fame.
The 2019 Arizona Teacher of the Year, Kareem Neal was inducted into the National Teachers Hall of Fame on April 11, 2022. Kareem Neal, an African American, is the first teacher in the state of Arizona to be so inducted in the history of the National Teachers Hall of Fame.
Mr. Neal is a Special Education Teacher in Maryvale High School. Maryvale is a West Phoenix community. The teachers, students, and faculty of Maryvale High School celebrated this history making event on Monday, April 11, 2022.
Their support for Mr. Neal and his total commitment to his students is well known at Maryvale. “His hard work on behalf of the students has earned him the recognition” says a fellow teacher.
