George Floyd’s Family on Capital Hill and Meets with Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi, President Joe Biden, and Vice-President Kamala Harris

WASHINGTON (AGN.NEWS) – Nancy Pelosi (D) held a morning meeting with the family of George Floyd on Capital Hill. Later today, the family will meet with President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris at the White House.
High on the list of things discussed is a police reform bill named after George Floyd. The bill has passed the House of Representatives and it is presently stalled in the Senate.
“They’ve been working tremendously to help push the issue of getting this law passed,” Floyd’s brother, Philonise Floyd said.

Everyone is being urged by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC.gov) to get vaccinated, wear masks, practice social distancing, and wash hands as a way to cut down on the transmission rate.
