Coronavirus Week Report: U.S. COVID-19 Vaccinations Exceed 240 Million on April 30, 2021

ATLANTA – The Centers For Disease Control (CDC) has implemented an aggressive plan to spread up-to-date information about the coronavirus also called COVID-19.
President Joe Biden stated a goal of having 100 million vaccines by his 100 days in office (2 days ago).
The administration delivered! The number of vaccines exceeded the milestone of 200 million coronavirus shots delivered on April 21st and vaccine eligibility opened to everyone 16 and over before Biden’s 100th day in office.
As of today, Friday, April 30, 2021, there have been over 240 million vaccinations administered. The number of infections are slowing in many regions due to citizens applying the CDC COVID-19 guidelines.
Since March 23, 2021 (five weeks) there have been 2,180,311 new cases reported in the United States. Many areas of the country have applied mitigating steps with the resulting decline in cases. In other areas the numbers are rising as a less than maximum effort is in effect to apply the CDC guidelines.

Everyone is being urged by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC.gov) to get vaccinated, wear masks, practice social distancing, and wash hands as a way to cut down on the transmission rate.
