WASHINGTON D.C. – After a tearful farewell speech on yesterday in Delaware, his home state, President-elect Joe Biden and Dr Jill Biden leaves behind many well-wishers to come to Washington in preparation for his inauguration as the 46th President of the United States at 12:00 noon eastern time today, Wednesday, January 20, 2021.
America welcomes the 46th President of the United States, Joseph Robinette Biden Jr., and the 49th Vice President of the United States, Kamala Devi Harris, to Washington, D.C. and the White House.
Today, January 20, 2021, continues a life-long mission that began decades ago by both President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, to help their fellow Americans “Build Back Better” an America for all Americans.
The White House is not new for President Biden. He spent eight years as Vice President with President Barack Obama from 2009 to 2017. Now, with Vice President Kamala Harris, an attorney who served as U.S. Senator from California from 2017 to 2021, and as attorney general of California from 2011 to 2017, he promises to deliver on his goal to be a President for all Americans, not just some Americans.
The road to the White House ran through many events, cities, counties and states. Long and exhausting has been the journey. Now, with the help of well-qualified professionals America can look for “better” to come.
Abraham Lincoln, the 16th president of the United States (1861–1865), once said, “That some achieve great success, is proof to all that others can achieve it as well.” The fact that many have given full support for these GREAT words is living proof that President Abraham Lincoln was right.
The little baby, Joseph Biden from Scranton, Pennsylvania, who grew up to be a smart little boy who listened to his father’s advice and who grew up more to attend the University of Delaware and Syracuse University receiving many awards along the way. Sworn in at the age of 29 Joe Biden was later reelected to the U.S. Senate from Delaware six times. He resigned from the Senate to become Vice President in 2009.
Seeing the direction the country was going motivated him to run for president to “Bring Back Better”. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, the first woman of color to become Vice President, won the 2020 election and certified by all the states and the District of Columbia on January 6, 2021 to become the 46th President of the United States is living proof President Abraham Lincoln was right.
Now Team Biden can celebrate along with all Americans as they tackle the challenges ahead!
