WASHINGTON (AGN.News) – Today, millions of people all over the world are learning of issues that are having a profound effect on their lives and local communities.
Our special thanks for your non-stop support for AGN.news as we share local and global news that have or will alter the way we live and work. This program will continue to report on many of those issues.
Alphabet Global News highlights
During our first year, after three months, we reported on the coming global pandemic in January 2020. We reported on the need for vaccines and personal responsibility confront this global coronavirus.
During our first year, we wanted to do our part in keeping our visitors informed of health alerts issued by government agencies. We have continued to post information at the bottom of every article in support of our communities.
As our 2nd anniversary began we saw the results of this pandemic and the toll it had inflicted on the entire world. The economic toll coupled with the health effects on virtually every community around the world have been clearly documented.
This COVID-19 virus continues to cause the death of over four hundred of our loved ones everyday here in the United States. In many countries, the cost in human life and the heavy economic toll on local communities are continuing right now.
Going forward, we will continue to support efforts to keep everyone informed about this virus and the need for mitigating efforts including the need for vaccines and booster shots.
Queen Elizabeth II reign ends
Earlier this month the monarch of the United Kingdom, Queen Elizabeth II, asked Prime Minister Liz Truss to form a government as her 70 year reign was coming to an end soon thereafter. On September 8, 2022 her reign ended.
The lost of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II (1926-2022) has been a very trying time for many of us and our friends around the world. Many of our friends in Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States have many great memories of the Queen over the 70 years. Those memories have helped us cope with the loss as we continue to mourn and pay our respects in person and online.
On September 19, 2022, King Charles III began his reign. Our best wishes goes to him and the Royal family as they enter a new era.
