78 People Killed in Ethiopia Protest Last Week

ADDIS ABABA ETHIOPIA – Local Protest continued last week in parts of Ethiopia leading to the death of at least 78 people and hundreds injured. These protest erupted over the claim of mistreatment of a very prominent activist according to a spokesperson from the prime minister’s office.
The violence has been going on for many days … leading to the disappointment of many citizens as to why the government hasn’t been able to end the violence. Hundreds have been detained over the unrest and there is an ongoing investigation in an effort to bring an end to the violence.
