LAS VEGAS (AGN.News) – Valentine’s Day: A day for people to celebrate love, romance, and tradition in their communities worldwide. February 14 is cited and recognized as a day where ‘love is in the air’ everywhere.
Valentine’s Day: Special for people
Valentine’s Day has an important and significant cultural benefit to people in love. It also has become valued for its commercial celebrations centered around romance and love in many regions of the world.
In the United States and many other countries – from Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe plus North America and South America – knows this Valentine’s Day provides opportunities to share the spirit of love for people who’re value by others.
Valentine’s Day: A day to share time!
For example, today can be a day to share time with people who are not able to physically travel or go out on outings. People in nursing homes or those confined to care facilities, or those who are disable, like veterans would value a visit from caring visitors.
Valentine’s Day is a day to spread acts of love and appreciation for those who will value every minute you spend with them the most.
When did Valentine’s Day begin?
Valentine’s Day originated as a Christian feast day honoring a martyr named Valentine.
Valentine’s Day is also associated with various Saint Valentines connected to February 14, including an account of the imprisonment of Saint Valentine of Rome for ministering to Christians persecuted under the Roman Empire in the third century.
According to an early legendary tradition, Saint Valentine restored sight to the blind daughter of his jailer. Numerous later additions to the legend have better related it to the theme of love.
An 18th-century embellishment to the legend claims he wrote the jailer’s daughter a letter signed “Your Valentine” as a farewell before his execution; another tradition posits that Saint Valentine performed weddings for Christian soldiers who were forbidden to marry.
Numerous early Christian martyrs were named Valentine. The Valentines honored on February 14 are Valentine of Rome and Valentine of Terni, a city in Umbria, Italy. Both Valentines are remembered today.
Valentine’s Day can be memorable
You can make Valentine’s Day memorable by acts of love and kindness. Something as a simple Valentine’s Day card shared by you with a deserving person is memorable. Or a Valentine’s Day digital card sent to a spouse, a someone special, or a special friend working or stationed in a far away place will be memorable.
Make your Valentine’s Day memorable by sharing and caring for others. Whether it’s romance, love, or tradition – make your Valentine’s Day memorable.
Give someone the gift of roses!
Valentine’s Day is a day to give flowers, especially roses, specifically red roses to the lady in your life. Is there a significant meaning to the color of roses?
When giving roses, there is a meaning in the color of the roses. Here is a color guide you can use:
When giving red roses, remember the red rose represents true love.
When giving blue roses, remember the blue rose represents mystery.
When giving white roses, remember the white rose represents innocence or purity.

Roses in relationships has meaning!
A red rose is a gift primarily given to a love interest, symbolizing a marital or romantic relationship.

Red is traditionally seen as a symbol of passion, while white is a symbol of purity and innocence.
Match the correct color when you give roses and it’ll always be a true winner.
Enjoy your Valentine’s Day!
Valentine’s Day is a day to let your brightest light shine. It can be an evening to renew the accumulated love or friendship in the relationship to grow.
This a day to let all side issues, not related to love, personal value, and appreciation, fade into the irrelevant column of non-interest – put back into the box – the ‘box of not-now’.
Happy Valentine’s Day to You!
